Fish Aquarium Light. Yes aquarium fish need light to determine whether its day or night. In general aquarium owners can use incandescent fluorescent or LED lights for fish but should be aware of the heat issues that incandescent lights cause.
Cycle Day and Night. We therefore recommend light sources which remind us most of daylight with a colour temperature of 5500 to 6500K. Without light fish and the life inside the aquarium will suffer.
As previously mentioned fish dont rely on bright lighting as much as live plants do for growth and survival.
It is water-resistant and hence is fully submersible in the water enhancing the effect. Lights are not bad for fish unless they are too bright or cause fluctuations in aquarium water temperature.
